	Greetings players. Our resident netdragon Adreos has been hard at work, making new features for the forums. They include new database systems so we can easily manage character sheets, businesses, etc. The main updates are as follows: General All databases are accessable from the Database tab in the menu Character Sheets & Businesses owned by a player will appear on that player's profile BBCode may be used in any form on the databases All of the databases require Javascript to Edit Character Sheets All active character have been transferred to the database There may be an error or two in the transfer, apologies when this is the case. All new sheets will be made with the database Businesses a character works at in the business database will automatically be added to the character sheet All character sheets require two approvals. One from a GM (Eli/Singh/Adreos) and one from any qualified player The second approval has been added to have a second pair of eyes look at the sheet in case one person misses something Players eligible to review a CS will receive notices in their inbox when a CS is available to review Character Status Draft (Private) - Only you can see the CS Draft (Shareable) - Does not show up on any list, but others may view through the URL Critique Requested - Requesting help and critique from fellow players. Shows up on the character list and form. Awaiting Approval - CS is up for approval Active - Active and in use Permanently Offworld - Character has left via a migrant or breach. Gone from play. Permanently Deceased - Character has died. Gone from play. Character Types (These may be freely changed in the character editor) Player Character - A character in frequent use by its player. Most character fall into this category Non-Player Character - A character that is infrequently used but is kept on file for its player. Or a special purpose character. A backup pure bbcode version may be retrieved from active CSes by the Show BBCode button Players who do not want to review characters sheets may opt out in their settings Business Database Business sheets may be filled out by any active player Sheets may be setup for regular customers or hiring Business Sheets require one approval from an OP or GM to go live Permissions for employees and administration characters may be set by the business owner Map Update Any player may add locations to the map. Players may add the following - Generic - General purpose. From events to plot stuff to items that don't fall into the other categories - Residents - Where characters live - Business - stores and shops - Food - Restaurants, food stores Map locations require OP approval before visible to everyone Map icons with a red border still require approval A zoom feature is being worked on.
