| After an incident at the Mage's Guild where a massive bout of lightning saw the top two floors of it blasted apart and a chunk completely removed from it's center. The storm's epicenter subsequently began to rage in the heart of Marsillion. Heavy snow has caused many vital services to shut down especially with the transformative effects that come from it. The Mage's Guild has been shut down for the moment and evacuated as it has been flooded with snow and it's structural integrity is suspect. MAF and the guard are working overtime to keep the streets cleared and infrastructure running but things are getting worse and worse. The mayor of Marsillion has announced that emergency evacuations are being considered for some of the hardest hit districts in the center, with emergency shelters being created in Glasscale and Arcford for those that have had their residences completely buried. This is anticipated to be a temporary measure till the snow subsides enough for these areas to be dug out. Search & Rescue operations are moving overtime despite the thunder storm that is raging above the town. | |
