A small handgun with an oversized grip and trigger to accommodate Xander's beefy three-fingered hands. Takes a standard clip for 9x19mm rounds, with each clip carrying fifteen shots.
Effective Range From Character
Between 160-170 feet. The gun can be used to make shots at nearly twice that distance, but Xander lacks the skill to do so reliably.

When all else fails, Xander is adept at hand-to-claw combat. He can use closed fists to make bruising strikes, or open claws to rip and tear. And those teeth are good in a pinch too.

While not the most proficient in firearms, Xander knows enough to safely use a small handgun without shooting innocent bystanders. Certainly not his first choice of weaponry, though.

While not really a psychic or supernatural ability, Xander has a special sort of 'danger sense' that warns him about trouble. More a collection of small details feeding his mind a flashing warning sign, he tends to know when things are going to go down. It doesn't pinpoint the direction of the danger, but he tends to be ready for a fight when one starts.

Background

World Information:

Xander hails from a more modern world, albeit with more species diversity than traditional Earth. A place where anthropomorphized animals walk alongside humanity. The diversity of species hasn't done anything to make it a cleaner or nicer place, though. Warp, poverty, disease and crime are still plagues on society. Xander came from a more civil region of his own world, where he worked a job and made ends meat as nightclub bouncer.

Character Background:

Born to a lower-middle household with a brood of six other siblings, Xander's early life was one of scarcity. There was never enough to go around for them, whether it be clothes, toys, or food. This led to him being rather possessive, to the point of territorial, about anything he considers his. This attitude has caused him no small amount of trouble in his life growing up, leading him to be pessimistic and decidedly anti-authoritarian. With a few trips behind bars under his belt, and no real solid education to speak of, he slid from day job to day job, treating them more like temporary gigs than actual professions. His latest job was as a bouncer at a nightclub, where his fierce appearance and imposing physique could be put to good use.
